Doubtless you are probably all aware of the marvel that takes place in November every year.. and for those of you who aren’t let us give you a bit of an insight into Movember;
“Changing the face of men’s health” – Movember is an amazing event that allows bro’s worldwide to channel their inner ‘tashe fantasy and finally let loose with the facial hair.. that’s right, up and down the country, from Edinburgh to London and beyond, men everywhere are waxing their tashes, combing their facial hair and revelling in the glory that is, essentially, not bothering to shave for an entire month.
Yes it’s all fun and games, but there is a more serious reason to embrace your inner bro and that is that this amazing event raises much needed cash and awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer initiatives. Movember strives to educate men worldwide about the health risks they face, and to act on that knowledge – hopefully increasing the chances of early detection, diagnosis and effective treatment.
Last year over 854,000 people took part and Movember raised a staggering £79.3 million. This year they will doubtless top that because we are sending our own clean shaven secret weapon into the mix. That’s right, this year we are very proud and excited to announce that our very own Guerilla, Gus Williams, has signed up to show off his tash and raise some money for this amazing cause. In true Guerilla style we will be sharing his progress with you so you can track his progress from clean shaven baby faced Williams..to rugged, bristly chinned man-monster. We bet you can’t wait!
