We are a creative bunch here at Guerilla and we love nothing more than to get stuck in to a good brief. We especially love it when we get the opportunity to work across multi platform formats to deliver campaigns that run both ATL and BTL. We were delighted then when our friends at www.RailAir.com knocked on our door and asked if we could rustle up something fabulous to promote their service in the run up to the summer months. Before we dazzle you with our creative genius, let me tell you a little bit about what RailAir do…
So here’s the official blurb: www.RailAir.com is a frequent and direct coach service from Reading to Heathrow. Prices start from £15 when you book online. The coaches have air conditioning and free WiFi. They run up to every 20 minutes during the week and every half an hour at weekends. The coach will take you directly to the terminal doors at Terminal 1, 3 and 5 connecting with free transfers to T4. Overall, it offers a great stress free alternative to driving, parking and having to transfer to the terminals.
So – now you know why you should be using RailAir…you are probably wondering what we had up our sleeves to promote this marvellous service. Well I’ll tell you – we have delivered a multiplatform campaign that includes TV advertising, taxi media, dem staff activity, a digital ad to run at Heathrow, a competition, takeover of the local shopping precinct including lift door creatives plus all the usual posters and leaflets. As if that’s not enough, we’ve also got RailAir branded pens and a life size Otto mascot that will be wandering about at the Oracle in Reading on the 12th and 13th of July. The strap line “It’s Not Rocket Science” is being used again to highlight the ease of the RailAir service. In short, we’ve had our fingers in a lot of pies and we are really looking forward to seeing everything in action from July 1st. So if you happen to switch on the TV and see Otto…or you head in to Reading for some shopping and notice our posters, car park banners, lift door creatives or at the very least…. you bump in to our friendly giant “Otto” – just remember that all these things have been compiled with a lot of love and thought from your friends at Guerilla.
